Darlene graduated from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Science (Specialty in Counseling) from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has extensive Master level education in family systems and has completed all classwork in Ed. D. in Counseling Education and Supervision (abd). Darlene is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).
She has over twenty years’ experience with a multitude of populations. Her experience with mental heath and addictive disorders include: accountability courts including drug courts, dui courts, early intervention courts, probation, parole. A few of her professional training's include MRT(Moral Recogonation Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Prime for Life Instructor, Prime for Solutions, Matrix Model, former Georgia State Provider (treatment/clinical), trauma training. Her current treatment focus is on individuals with complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Darlene is passionate about working with individuals who have complex trauma issues and addictive disorder. Darlene uses her experience and skills to help others who are suffering and helps them move towards healing.
