Donald D. Burk, II is a seasoned healthcare executive and licensed alcohol and drug counselor with over three decades of leadership experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
Prior to joining BayMark Health Services, Don served as Chief Executive Officer of The Recovery Center for 18 years, where he led strategic planning, financial management, operations and compliance for their comprehensive SUD programs. His earlier roles include District Manager at SpecialCare Hospital Management Corporation, where he managed hospital-based, medically supervised detoxification units across multiple states; and leadership positions at Catalyst Behavioral Services, Red Rock Behavioral Health Services, Phoenix Recovery Institute, Mission Hill Memorial Hospital, and Great Plains Hospital.
Don holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University. He is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and has served as a consultant for national firms including GLG and Guidepoint Global. In 2019, he was appointed by Governor Kevin Stitt to the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, completing his term in 2024.

As a father of six, Don prefers to spend his free time with three boys and three girls ranging from 8 to 24 years old.
